Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Lead, Cloud Web Hosting Services, in this position you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and operational support of modern web and cloud-based services. As an intermediate Systems Analyst, you will contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across multiple technical domains, including cloud platforms, on-premises hosting, file transfer technologies, and certificate lifecycle management.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and external service providers, you will support the full-service lifecycle, leveraging IT service management principles to solve complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to influence solution design, strengthen service reliability, and enhance the integration of emerging technologies within a dynamic IMT environment.
Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Design, implement, and support IMT services, ensuring stability, performance, and integration across systems
- Apply ITIL-based practices (incident, problem, and change management) to maintain service reliability
- Provide operational support for cloud and on-prem web hosting, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrades
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures aligned with best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and service teams to resolve issues and enhance service delivery
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and security compliance across web technologies and cloud platforms
- Support testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement of services, including automation initiatives
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and ensure alignment with recovery objectives

Qualifications
Requirements:
- University graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in supporting a broad range of enterprise technology.
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Support of on-premises web hosting platforms such as IIS, Apache Tomcat
- Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- SSL/TLS certificate management (e.g. AppViewX CLM, Sectigo, Let’s Encrypt, etc.)
- Content delivery network services (e.g. Akami, Cloudflare, Amazon CloudFront, Google Cloud CDN, etc.)
- Understanding of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET) and how they relate to server-side operations.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, web security, registered domain names, file transfer services (SFTP), and load balancing
Equivalencies:
- A related two-year diploma in computer technology or a related discipline from a recognized postsecondary institution and four (4) years related experience; or
- A related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and five (5) years related experience.
Assets:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Demonstrated analytical, planning, organization, evaluation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to detect and repair problems, independently and quickly.
- Broad understanding of the technical environment and linkages between systems
- Ability to communicate effectively to staff and end users with a varying degree of systems understanding (none to expert).
- Able to work effectively on a team as well as independently and handle high stress situations.
- Experience in change and incident management.
- Experience with on call rotations and after hour escalations.
- Familiarity with Linux systems.
- Scripting with PowerShell, Terraform.
- Experience with GitHub.
Certifications:
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Cloudflare Application Security Associate or Cloudflare Zero Trust Associate
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certificated Network Associate (CCNA)
