Watercraft inspections are part of a larger province-wide AIS Program that includes monitoring, response planning, education campaigns, and policy. The Watercraft Inspections and Decontamination Program is focused primarily along major highways in Alberta, where it is mandatory for all vehicles transporting watercraft to stop at open inspection stations.
