- Administrative Support 3 - $1,692.06 to $2,141.00 bi-weekly ($44,162 - $55,880/year), $23.34 to $29.53 per hour
- Administrative Support 4 - $1,862.58 to $2,356.75 bi-weekly ($48,613 - $61,511/year), $25.69 to $32.51 per hour

Our administrative positions provide support to a wide range of operations within the GOA. The responsibilities assigned to a role may be focused on one type of work or may be a combination from 7 various administrative support categories in the following areas:

1. Program Support - As a first point of contact for the public on the phone, via email or in person, program support roles explain the requirements, processes and benefits of a program.
Examples:
- Contract and Grant Administrator
- AISH Application Assessor
- Licensing Assistant
- Children’s Services Administrative Support
- Employment, Training and Financial Administrative Support
2. Office and Administrative Support - Office and administrative support drafts and formats office correspondence, manages records, completes data entry, maintains calendars and orders office supplies.

- Office Administrator
- Receptionist
- Records Technician/Coordinator
- Data Entry Clerk
3. Financial Support - Supports finance teams to ensure completion of financial documents in the areas of expenditures, reconciliation and petty cash, as well as reviewing transactions for accuracy and completeness.

- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Administrator
- Revenue Administrator
- Financial Assistant
- Payments Clerk
- Contract/Grant Administrator
4. Call Centre Support - This position provides information and handles public inquiries regarding major government announcements, public consultation initiatives or major incidents such as a natural disaster or pandemic.

5. Legal Support - Ensures completion and compliance within applicable legislation, regulations and policies, and provides a range of support to Crown Prosecutors, the Court of King's Bench, or the Criminal Justice and Corrections systems and staff.

6. Human Resource Support - Positions are responsible for scheduling, preparing and distributing hearing packages, and timely data entry into the Customer Relationship Management system. Also focuses on tracking/reporting, coordination, process implementation and administration.

7. Social Services Support - Positions provide support to front-line services for programs that support seniors, children/youth, and vulnerable populations. These positions are responsible for responding to inquiries from stakeholders and the public, redirecting them to the appropriate government offices and resources, and managing forms and records with highly sensitive information.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Administrative Support 3 - High School diploma plus a minimum of one year of related administrative experience
- Administrative Support 4 - High School diploma plus a minimum of two years of related administrative experience
- Minimum of one year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Equivalencies will be considered based on 1 year of experience for 1 year of education or 1 year of education for 1 year of experience.

Notes
- This competition will be used to fill current and future vacancies in Lethbridge for wage, temporary and permanent Administrative Support positions as part of the Administrative Talent Pool. Part-time opportunities may be available.
- The number of positions to be filled has not been identified at this time as vacancies in various locations will vary.This competition will be used to create an eligibility list of qualified candidates to fill upcoming opportunities.

Talent Pool Process
Once online applications have been submitted, candidates are screened based on the Minimum Recruitment Standards (MRS) for Administrative Support 3 and 4 positions. Candidates who meet the screening criteria will be scheduled for virtual interviews.
Candidates who are successful in their virtual interview are considered pre-qualified for a period of 12 months and they receive an email notification that they are added to the Talent Pool. Pre-qualified candidates will be referred to hiring managers looking to fill their AS3 and AS4 vacancies.
