We are seeking an organized and strategic minded Operations Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role supports the operational efficiency of our staff in the South Region. As the Operations Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication, coordination, and logistics support to improve daily operations within the region.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Support Manager, you will be responsible to provide a broad range of support to regional operation staff. While this is not a front-line position, much of the work is focused directly on supporting front-line service delivery that will directly impact the enjoyment, health and safety of park visitors in the South Region.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Leads and coordinates the regional fleet and vehicle lease programs. Lead the activities of vehicle fleet management program, to ensure that region wide vehicle operations are cost effective, considerate of safety requirements, meet the needs of regional staff, and are implemented in accordance with Provincial guidelines.
• Leads and coordinates the provision of technology-based services (e.g. satellite phones, GPS safety systems, radios) and supports for the region.
• Leads and coordinates the office, workshop and warehouse space accommodation program on behalf of the region for the primary administrative offices and spaces shared with other GoA or organizations.
• Leads and coordinates the regional staff housing program and housing allocations.
• Asset Management - responsible for maintaining accurate and complete inventories annually for reporting, auditing, and risk management.
• Supporting the OH&S program as a backup for records management when the Regional Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator (ROC) is away or not available.

Drive for Results: This position is responsible for delivering on complex initiatives that do not have obvious solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
• One-year certificate in a related field plus two years related experience.
Equivalencies:
• Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.
Assessments:
• Microsoft suite including Excel and Word.
• Project Management.
• Basic understanding of technology.
• Basic understanding of OH&S legislation.
Additional Requirement:
• Class 5 Driver’s license or equivalent.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday position.
