Most importantly you can demonstrate objectivity when presenting your analysis to decision makers. If this describes you as a professional forester, then we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•    Evaluate complex technical analyses submitted by forest industry to ensure that proposed harvest levels and harvest patterns can be approved by the Executive Director, Forest Management and Wildfire Mitigation (FMWM) branch.
•    Resolve complex wood supply issues to inform decision makers.
•    Execute landscape level resource analyses (e.g. land base impact assessment) to allow the province to adjust allowable cuts.
•    Provide with confidence ongoing support to forest planning through geospatial practices such as mapping, spatial data creation and maintenance as well as scripting.
