Role Responsibilities
Do you enjoy making things run smoothly, supporting meaningful programs, and helping others succeed? Are you someone who takes pride in keeping details organized, solving small problems before they become big ones, and making sure everyone has what they need to do their best work?
If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you on our team.
As a Project and Services Coordinator, you’ll support APS-wide learning and recognition programs that help public servants build the skills and confidence they need to deliver on government priorities. You’ll work closely with program managers and team members to coordinate logistics, maintain materials and accurate records, and ensure program participants have a positive experience.
This role is central to ensuring Learning & Engagement programs and services run efficiently and consistently across the APS. In this role, you will:

• Support participants and clients: Respond to inquiries, gather feedback, and ensure accurate communication of program details.
• Maintain program materials: Prepare, update, and organize content using templates and process documents.
• Track and organize: Use tracking tools to monitor tasks, maintain records, and flag issues or delays.
• Collaborate with purpose: Work with internal teams and stakeholders to support program delivery and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to improvements: Identify ideas and recurring issues, sharing suggestions with your manager, providing feedback on updated procedures, and supporting the testing of new tools, templates, and systems.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
• Be detail-driven and organized: You manage timelines independently, track tasks, keep things on schedule, and ensure accuracy in documentation and logistics.
• Communicate with clarity: You write and speak clearly, professionally, and appropriately for your audience.
• Stay proactive and adaptable: You anticipate needs, solve problems early, and adjust to changing priorities.
• Work well with others: You bring a service mindset to every interaction and contribute positively to team culture.
• Use tools effectively: You’re comfortable with 1GX and open to learning new systems and platforms.
