Role Responsibilities
You will establish metrics to support the desired outcomes of the Construction and Maintenance Division, assisting in the monitoring and continuous improvement of project estimates, financial forecasts, and project management cycles for highway and bridge projects delivered across the province. This position manages a team of technical staff and provides guidance to a group of eight Construction and Bridge Managers. Additionally, you will collaborate regularly with Infrastructure Managers and Regional Directors to deliver highway projects to support the Ministry’s Capital annual budgets ranging from $500 million to $1 billion.

Qualifications
Required:
- University Degree in related field (Engineering/project management) supplemented with 4 years of progressively responsible experience.
- Experience with project management in a construction setting is required.
Equivalency:
- Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
Assets:
- PMP designation
- Previous experience in a project management Office, leading training and standardization.
- Previous experience leading teams.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the production of high-quality, accurate deliverables.
- Proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with highway and bridge construction and rehabilitation projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closeout processes, along with associated requirements and standards.

This position is a permanent, full-time role with the standard weekly work hours of 36.25, Monday to Friday (8:15 am – 4:30 pm).
