Salary: $3,806.46 to $5,122.39 bi-weekly ($99,348- $133,694)/ annually.

Role Responsibilities

 As the Print Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

 

  • Provide leadership, operational direction, motivation, and support necessary to 5 direct reports and 15 indirect perform their responsibilities in proficient manner
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships between the Ministries, Service Alberta, Print Services and service providers
  • Monitor all expenditures to ensure expenditures and revenue as in accordance with guidelines
  • Identifying yearly capital expenditures and procure assets.
  • Oversees the sustainment of Print Services print management software system

 

 To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • The ability to critically assess existing processes, identify gaps, and develop and implement improvement strategies related to service delivery and security.

Qualifications

Qualification: University degree in Business Management, Technology or a related field plus 4 years of supervisory or management experience.

 

Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

 

The incumbent is required to have:

  • Work experience and knowledge of operational business processes and practices within a diverse service setting. 
  • Work experience in managing complex projects.  

 

The following are considered Assets 

  • Previous experience in a production print environment 
  • Previous knowledge of mainframe 
  • Experience conducting procurements within the GA framework is an asset. 
  • Experience in managing large budgets, and forecasts

Location:

Muriel Stanley Venne Provincial Centre, 12360- 142 Street, Edmonton AB T5L 4X9. 

 

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8:15 am -4:30 pm with one hour lunch break 

 

Must have own transportation as some print centers are not served by public transportation.

 

Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.
