Role Responsibilities
Join a team that keeps people, vehicles, and workplaces moving. From managing ministry fleet operations and parking programs to supporting facility upgrades and innovative government-wide initiatives, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a visible impact across multiple ministries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate provincial fleet programs, including vehicle maintenance, compliance monitoring, driver safety initiatives, and ministry fleet support.
- Provide strategic advice and project management expertise to support fleet operations, policy development, and continuous service improvement.
- Manage accommodation, parking, and facility operations, including office relocations, space planning, building enhancement projects, and parking allocations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Alberta Infrastructure, and external partners to ensure effective facility management and operational continuity.
- Support financial planning activities by developing budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, business plans, and capital project submissions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and corporate partners while providing expert guidance on facilities, fleet, and administrative services.

Qualifications
Two-year diploma in Business Administration or related field, plus four (4) years of related experience in Fleet, Parking and Facility management; or equivalent as described below:
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience, or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
Technical Proficiency:
Applicants with experience with OPRA (Online Parking Request Application) or similar, Holman (or another related Fleet System) and DMIS (Driver Management Information System) experience will be given preference.
Required:
- Valid Class 5 or higher drivers license with a drivers abstract not older than 30 days. Abstract will only be required for candidates being invited for an interview.
Assets:
- Extensive experience in fleet, knowledge of GoA policies, directives, acts and legislative frameworks, and OHS requirements in such field of work are key to success.
- Working with complex projects and varied stakeholders like vendors, project managers, maintenance crews and property management companies is an asset.

Position Information:
- Office located in Edmonton (J.G.O’Donoghue Building 7000-113 Street).
- Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week (permanent full time).
- Monday to Friday (08:15 am-16:30 pm).
- Travel: Up to 10% travel; valid driver’s license is required.
