The Registries Evolution branch is responsible for identifying and delivering on opportunities to ensure that registry services are modernized, innovative, client-centric, and sustainable with a focus on improved client and employee experience and consistency across government. Registry services range from land registration services which are an enabler to the economy, motor vehicle services which enable the movement of people and goods, and corporate registry services which can be a deciding factor by out-of-province stakeholders when considering incorporating in Alberta.

Working as a Change Management Analyst in the Registries Evolution branch, you will have a pivotal role in how motor vehicle, land, and corporate land registry services are delivered across Alberta. Applying your extensive knowledge and experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM), you will navigate changes for internal and external stakeholders by leading enterprise-level transformational service design projects through the identification, planning, and implementation of opportunities to achieve modernized, innovative, and client-centric registries services.

Reporting to the Manager, Change Management and Engagement of Registries Evolution, you will be responsible to develop, maintain and improve Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodologies, strategies, tools and templates to develop presentations, communications and training materials to help support the Government of Alberta’s registries modernization efforts.
Other key responsibilities for the role include:
- Build awareness, support and digital literacy across Registry teams and stakeholders through change management with focus on communications, stakeholder engagement, coaching and business readiness.
- Provide evidence-informed, strategic advice, development and execution to clients on priority projects to help support people at all levels through change and transition and to improve overall team effectiveness.
- Support and strengthen the Registries Modernization Change Champion Community through ongoing engagement, preparation and maintenance of change champion resources, and actioning input from the community.
- Perform research across the OCM spectrum to identify possible improvements and trends in OCM and participate in strategic sessions and team meetings to plan, identify, and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Leadership, Digital Communications, Behavioural Sciences, etc.) - PLUS 2 years minimum related experience.
The following equivalencies may be considered:
- Diploma plus 4 years’ related experience.
- Certificate plus 5 years’ related experience.
- 6 years of related experience in lieu of formal education.
Assets: - Experience in applying OCM strategies within agile technology delivery frameworks to ensure smooth stakeholder transitions and adoption.
- Experience in applying OCM methodologies, principles, theories, and concepts such as Prosci, John Kotter, Peter Senge, Daniel Goleman, etc.
- Experience in research, evaluation and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Experience in identifying training needs, developing training strategies and advising on training development.
- Experience in building and managing relationships by engaging, communicating, collaborating and consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience with project management.
- Experience with registries.

Notes
This competition will be used to fill one (1) temporary full-time position located in Edmonton from approximately August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be scheduled to work Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day for a total of 36.25 hours per week.
