Role Responsibilities
Are you a highly organized and proactive professional with a passion for administrative excellence? Join our dynamic team as a Branch Administrator, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting two key branches — Financial Services and Policy Planning and Agency Governance (PPAG). Reporting directly to both the Executive Director of Financial Services and the PPAG Branch leader, you will be the crucial link facilitating smooth operations, effective communications, and seamless administrative support. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to engage with senior leadership and stakeholders across multiple departments while contributing to high-impact decision-making processes within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Services and PPAG branches, managing correspondence, scheduling, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and track Action Requests, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation.
- Manage HR-related tasks including staffing documentation and liaising on personnel matters.
- Administer the Executive Directors’ calendar, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.
- Maintain records management, and assist with FOIP requests.
- Develop and update administrative procedures and support branch-wide office automation needs.
- Assist with special projects, presentations, and staff logistics as required.

Qualifications
High school diploma and three years of related experience in office administration, office management, or systems support/coordination.
Equivalencies will be considered on the basis of one year of education for one year of experience, or one year of experience for one year of education.
The following experience is required:
- With Government of Alberta processes and/or applications (i.e., FOIP, 1GX, ARTS, BERNIE) or comparable business process management systems.
- Human Resources.
- Supporting executive management level positions.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring/processing.
- Calendar management
- Proficient in using a variety of office software such as MS Office (expert Word and PowerPoint, advanced Outlook, and intermediate Excel) as well as advanced SharePoint and intermediate Visio.
