In this highly visible executive role, you will lead a large division and oversee a significant operating budget, while

shaping programs that safeguard public revenues and support the province's fiscal priorities.

Key responsibilities include overseeing registration, processing, audit, compliance, collections, and dispute resolution activities across a complex and diverse service portfolio. Providing leadership for the implementation and administration of tax and revenue legislation and policy, you will ensure a fair, effective, and accountable framework that strengthens public confidence in Alberta's fiscal system. You will also champion continuous improvement, business modernization, and technology-enabled service delivery, positioning Alberta revenue programs to respond to emerging challenges, while enhancing efficiency, accountability and client outcomes. Through strategic partnerships across government, industry, and stakeholder communities, you will advance policy priorities, deliver results, and build organizational capacity.

As a member of the ministry's Executive Team, you will share accountability for provincial tax policy, enterprise-wide priorities, and cross-ministry initiatives that support the Government of Alberta's strategic objectives. Operating within a highly complex legislative, fiscal, and stakeholder environment, you will balance competing priorities while ensuring sound stewardship, legislative compliance, exceptional client service, and operational excellence.
