As Administrative Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive and strategic administrative support to the Executive Director, acting as a central point of coordination for branch operations. This role is critical in managing information flow, supporting executive decision-making, coordinating high-priority initiatives, and ensuring the efficient delivery of administrative, financial, and operational processes across the division.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Managing executive operations, prioritizing calendars, meetings, travel, and workflow to meet shifting priorities
• Preparing and refining correspondence, briefings, and reports to support informed decision-making
• Coordinating action requests and enabling effective information flow across leadership and stakeholders
• Overseeing financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking expenditures for accuracy and accountability
• Supporting contract administration by maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with policies and processes
• Maintaining organized records and coordinating office resources to ensure seamless daily operations

Qualifications
Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Three years of related administrative experience
Equivalency: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:
• Experience supporting senior leaders
• Experience with budget forecasting and reconciling expenditures
• Experience with government systems or comparable financial and tracking systems (e.g. ARTS, 1GX, or similar platforms)
• Experience working with the Access to Information Act

• There is one temporary position (up to 12 months) with the standard weekly work hours of 36.25, Monday to Friday.
• This position is located at the Jasper Building, 10405 Jasper Ave in Edmonton.
