Role Responsibilities
Graduated Supports provides support to community homes in Calgary and is seeking the right person for the role of Residential Supervisor.
Graduated Supports takes a holistic approach that promotes overall health and well-being. As the front-line Residential Supervisor in a 24/7 residential setting, you will be responsible to provide direct support to the community home staffing teams. This includes staff scheduling, assisting in front line activities, case management, organizing training, ensuring compliance to legislation, respite booking, accommodation standards and licensing. This position requires strong organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, creative problem solving, and application of pro-active strategies. You will contribute to ensuring quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities and physical challenges by advocating, providing quality care, fostering an environment for growth and development, and providing opportunities for community access and meaningful activities. Other key responsibilities of this role include contact with internal and external stakeholders and maintenance of administrative and financial procedures.
As the ideal candidate, your experience in a 24/7 residence, exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills, as well as your excellent organizational skills will enable you to establish rapport and develop trust in relationships to promote positive outcomes. To be successful in the role you will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As a supervisor, you will also be monitoring staff performance standards and goals; you will be coaching staff towards meeting goals. The supervisor also oversees the financial procedures of the worksite. To be successful in this role you will be developing and implementing plans for cost efficiency measures, submitting operational reports as required.

Qualifications
Directly related two year diploma or a degree related to the position assignment and two years of related experience. Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience is required.

• This role requires that you have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
