Role Responsibilities
We are seeking an organized, collaborative, and results-oriented Business Coordinator to support the effective and efficient operation of our worksites. Reporting to the Zone Administrative Lead, you will provide leadership to the administrative support team while coordinating business operations, financial processes, human resources administration, and worksite services.
The Business Coordinator will be supporting two program areas: the Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program and the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) program.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and building strong relationships while supporting a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and support the administrative team through supervision, performance management, and staff development.
• Foster a collaborative, engaged workplace while promoting continuous improvement and administrative best practices.
Business & Administrative Operations
• Coordinate administrative services to support daily worksite and program operations.
• Oversee records management, facilities, IT equipment, telecommunications, and other administrative functions while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Financial & Resource Management
• Support budgeting, purchasing, financial reporting, and resource planning to meet operational needs.
• Manage asset tracking, procurement, and financial controls in accordance with organizational policies.
Human Resources Administration
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and personnel administration.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits documentation, system access, and maintain accurate employee records.
Occupational Health & Safety
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
• Assist with incident reporting, ergonomic assessments, and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Recruitment Standard:
High school diploma and four years of related experience.
Equivalency: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.

• Hours of work are 36.25 hours weekly Monday to Friday
• Location: Calgary, AB
• Travel - in and around Calgary is part of the role, so a Driver’s license and dependable vehicle is required.
