Role Responsibilities
Working within a framework of program policies, and under the direction of the Business Unit Manager, the Administrative Coordinator ensures that the administrative activities and resources of the program are utilized appropriately to ensure that processes are in place for clients to receive their Cost-Share Exemption applications in a timely manner.
The Administrative Coordinator coordinates the activities of a multi-sector administrative team and oversees the cost share exemption program in addition to the following responsibilities;
Administers/Oversees the Cost-Share Exemption Program:
• Receives cost-share applications, processes for completeness, determines program eligibility, and responds to applicants.
• Reviews Cost Share appeals and makes recommendations for approval/denial during administrative reviews.
Program Resolution Management:
• Effectively resolves issues brought forward by clients, authorizers, and vendors in accordance with current program policies and procedures.
Supervision:
• supervises administrative staff in accordance with good supervisory practices and consistent with HR policies and the collective agreement to ensure timely recruitment, development, and retention of service-oriented work units.
Administrative/Technical:
• Ensures that current administrative processes are enhanced and/or maintained to meet the changing needs of the program consistent with effective office practices, and departmental procedures to facilitate the administrative and technological needs of the program.

Qualifications
One-year certificate in a related field plus two years related experience; or equivalent as described.
Equivalency: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.

7.25 hours daily/ 36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
